Join event for maritime-port
relations between Peru and Antwerp

The Belgo-Perú Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, hosted a three-day event aimed at fostering commercial and academic ties in the maritime-port sector between Belgium and Peru.

Held from October 19 to 21, the program featured visits to the Transport & Logistics Antwerp Expo, a guided boat tour of the port, and a high-level seminar at the iconic Port House. Presentations were delivered by representatives of the Port of Antwerp-Bruges, the Peruvian Embassy, BPCC, EUROCHAMBERS, and key Peruvian port authorities.
A special focus was given to the Chancay megaport project, expected to position Peru as a Pacific logistics hub. The event also highlighted the role of academic cooperation, particularly with the National University of San Marcos, which is launching a Port Business Administration program.
